There are three (3) ways to get an accident report or incident police report (the fees are the same no matter what method you choose):
Electronically: Accident Report (There is a $10 fee for each report. Payments can be made using MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, or American Express.)
Electronically: Incident Police Report (There is a $2 fee for each report. Payments can be made using MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, or American Express.)
In-person (For an accident report, there is $10 fee for each report. For an Incident Police Report, there is a $2 fee for each report.):

Locate an Accident Report
To locate an accident report, you will need:
Your report number
The report date
Driver’s last name or owner’s last name
Access your report online. Once you have made the online request for your report, it will take 24 - 72 hours to receive a response. If the report is available, it will be accessible from the online portal via payment. If the report is not available, you will receive a message that is is not available at this time.
If you filed your accident report through the Kentucky State Police (KSP) website, you will need to contact the KSP to get a copy of that report.
If you do not know your incident report number, you can email LMPDAccidentReport@louisvilleky.gov or call 502-574-6857 (Monday through Friday between 8 am to 4 pm).

To locate an incident report, you will need:
Victim’s last name
Your report number
The report date

Accident Reports are not public records. They may only be obtained by a party involved with proper ID (name must appear on the report), the insurance company’s representative of the listed agency on the report or an attorney representing a listed party involved.
Some Incident Reports are not public records and involved parties may be required to show ID in these instances.
