The Violent Crime Squad addresses violent crime in Louisville Metro by focusing on hot spots of violent criminal activity, identifying and arresting the worst offenders, and addressing gang activity the squad encounters. The Violent Crime Squad is also crucial for identifying and apprehending fugitives who are known violent offenders.
